Partnerships

The Corporate Finance Broker Unit, since its inception, has solidified strategic partnerships with various stakeholders in an effort to effectively enhance the perspective of socio-economic development through the strengthening of the MSME sector. To date, these partnerships have resulted in a total of thirty-three (33) memoranda of understanding with five commercial banks, five merchant and investment firms, three state lending institutions, five small and medium enterprise (SME) lenders, eight private sector organisations (PSOs) and seven credit unions.

How partnerships can work for you

  • Loans and lines of credit
  • Better service, enhanced products and an expanded support to the MSME sector, as is evidenced by the increasing creation of SME divisions in main stream banks (e.g. Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Ltd. (BNS), National Commercial Bank Jamaica Ltd. (NCB) and more recently, Royal Bank of Trinidad and Tobago Ltd (RBTT).
  • Increased collaboration and identification of financing for large scale projects undertaken by the Unit’s clients.
  • Cost-effective identification and provision of facilities for training purposes.
