The Target Growth Competitiveness Committee (TGCC), in association with the Office of the Prime Minister, will host a Doing Business Report (Roundtable to discuss strategies to improve the ease of doing business in Jamaica. The Roundtable will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Jamaica Trade and Invest,18 Trafalgar Road, Kingston 10.
In an effort to improve the competitiveness of the private sector and by extension the nation, the Roundtable will seek to engage the respondents to the Doing Business Report, as well as those integrally involved in ‘Doing Business’ in Jamaica. This is with a view to ensuring that the relevant information on doing business in Jamaica is disseminated. It will also be an opportunity to discuss best practices as well as offer suggestions for improvement to the ease of doing business in Jamaica.
