The biennial Green Expo, an environmental exposition organized by the Jamaica Conservation and Development Trust (JCDT) is scheduled for 2009 June 5 – 7 in Kingston. The exposition is held during National Environmental Awareness Week, which starts on World Environment Day – June 5. Green Expo features exhibits from government agencies, non-government and community-based organisations, in an effort to expose the public to environmentally-friendly products, services and practices. The theme for this year’s event is Change, Alternative Energy and Energy Conservation.
