Consequent on the Ministry of Agriculture's successful staging of the Agri-Invest Seminar and Expo in March 2009 JTI has decided to join forces again with the Ministry in the staging of its Production and Marketing Organization Conference. The event will take place at the Trelawny Multi Purpose Stadium on June 25, 2009 and is being organized at the direct request of stakeholders in the agriculture industry who have identified gaps in the marketing of agriculture products through to the final consumer.

Jamaica Trade and Invest will use its booth at the event to showcase its role as industry facilitator as well as highlight the specific services offered by JTI to local investors in the agriculture industry. Representatives from JTI’s Investment & Export Promotion Departments as well as the Corporate Finance Broker Unit of the Private Sector Development Programme (PSDP) will be on hand to provide information and value-added services to participants at the event.
