The forum provided local exporters with information on what is required to include their products in the Brand Jamaica Booth at Expo Shanghai 2010, which is scheduled for May to October 31 in the eastern Asia country.
Dubbed as the largest in world history, the six-month long exposition will be held under the theme 'Better City, Better Life' and is expected to attract up to 70 millon visitors.
Jamaica's participation in the expo is an inter-ministerial effort, involving the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce; Ministry of Youth, Culture and Sports; Ministry of Tourism (Jamaica Tourist Board); and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.
