INVESTMENT PROMOTION MANAGER, KNOWLEDGE SERVICES
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Vice President of the Investment Promotion
Division, the Investment Promotions Manager, Knowledge Services
will be responsible for directing and executing activities which
support the generation, identification and securing of investments in
Jamaica's Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
Sector.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Developing Marketing and Promotion Plans for Jamaica's ICT Sector
- Generating prospects and leads
- Managing ICT contracts
- Developing department operational plan and budget
- Managing Cabinet submission process for ICT projects
- Liaising with ICT Teams in identification of real estate and real
estate development for use by existing and prospective ICT
operators
- Identifying technical and financial support to develop and improve ICT projects
- Managing inward and outward marketing missions
- Identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for export of ICT
services
- Human resource management activities in relation to direct
reports
Selected Skills, Abilities, Experience and Key Competencies
- Graduate degree in Marketing or related Management or Technical
discipline
- At least five (5) years marketing experience at the middle manage-
ment level
- Experience in managing project design and implementation
